Greetings from Whistler and Pemberton,

With the September long weekend behind us and kids heading back to school, it certainly feels like we’re settling back into routine after a busy summer. The days are still beautiful, but the cooler mornings and changing colours are a sure sign that fall is just around the corner — and before we know it, thoughts will be turning to ski season!

This week, along with our regular seven-day market activity, we have a recap of the real estate market in Whistler and Pemberton for August.

Whistler Market Snapshot – August 2026

August brought beautiful weather, a bustling Village and a noticeable pickup in real estate activity, with total sales increasing 45% from July. Inventory remained relatively steady and limited, with condos and townhomes seeing the most buyer attention. As we head into September and thoughts turn toward the upcoming winter season, buyers should be prepared to move when the right opportunity comes to market.

Pemberton Market Snapshot – August 2026

August followed a more typical summer pace, with both sales and inventory remaining relatively steady as many enjoyed a seasonal break. Total inventory held at 89 properties, while sales activity was largely unchanged across the main market segments. As we move into the fall market, we traditionally see new listings begin to arrive, which should bring some fresh opportunities for buyers who have been waiting for additional selection.
