Whistler – More choice for buyers as inventory increases

Whistler’s third-quarter market saw a 6% increase in listings and a 15% decline in sales compared with the same period last year. However, activity varied across property types, with some segments showing greater resilience than others.

For Buyers, increased inventory offers more opportunity to compare properties and assess value. For Sellers, understanding the competition within their specific property category, and pricing accordingly, remains important. As we approach the winter season, well-positioned properties may continue to attract interest from Buyers looking to make their next move.

Pemberton – Slower sales activity as buyers remain selective

Pemberton’s third-quarter market saw slower sales activity across several property segments, despite more properties becoming available in some categories. Affordability and limited selection at more accessible price points continue to influence buyer decisions.

While Buyers have more opportunity to consider their options in certain segments, finding the right property at the right price remains important. For Sellers, thoughtful pricing and a willingness to negotiate will be key to attracting serious interest. We’ll be watching closely for signs of renewed activity as the fall market progresses.
