October is wrapping up with a beautiful mix of autumn colours and fresh snow on the mountains. With crisp mornings and ski season just around the corner, it’s a wonderful time to enjoy everything Whistler has to offer!
Looking at this week’s real estate activity, Whistler recorded 24 new listings and 10 sales, offering buyers some fresh opportunities to explore. In Pemberton we remain balanced with 2 new listings and 2 sales. As we transition from fall into winter, it’s an interesting time to watch the real estate market, with new opportunities emerging and buyers and sellers making plans for the season ahead.
On the financial front, there’s plenty of interest in tomorrow’s Bank of Canada interest rate announcement. Many economists and financial markets are anticipating a 25-basis-point increase in the overnight rate to 2.50%, which would mark a change after a 1 year period of stability at 2.25%. We will have to wait and see what tomorrow brings.
