Greetings from Whistler and Pemberton,
What a beautiful day we have had, sunny and warm with blue skies, it was gorgeous! Spring Break is over and now it’s back to the everyday Whistler and Pemberton, not a bad place to be. To tell you the truth, this is the best place on earth as some people say, and we agree! Did you know that spring skiing and boarding is one of the most fabulous things to do, especially on our mountains? It’s true, especially if there is a sprinkle of snow over night and the sun shines in the morning. Not only are the mountains great, but the patios are also where it’s at for apres’ get togethers. You should have a look at the Insider’s Whistler Blog for a snapshot of what to do in Whistler in the spring. Don’t forget that a little Day Trip to Pemberton would be another fantastic activity to entertain your family. And, if you have any questions on these spectacular ideas, give us a call, we know where to go and what to do!
Now for the business end “what’s happening in the market” part of this weekly update. We saw a slight slow down of activity such as calls and viewings however that didn’t affect the number of sales in Whistler this week. With 25 sales and 21 new listings for Whistler, you can see, we still do not have enough inventory to meet with the demand. The Pemberton market should start to pick up for new inventory in the next month or so. April marks the beginning of Spring and the flowers start poking up and so do new listings, so stay tuned. We hope there will be new properties for buyers to choose from and the sellers will be happy with their sales. If you are thinking of buying or selling, give us a call or send an email, we are here to help you navigate this ever changing market.
