It’s a gorgeous sunny day in Whistler, spring skiing and boarding is #1 activity for today! April 10th – 14th is the World Ski and Snowboard Festival featuring speed events, style competitions, concerts including Michael Franti & Spearhead and the Snotty Nose Rez Kids at the Skier’s Plaza. Check out the full Festival Schedule online, there is something for everyone in your family. We have a fantastic Market Update for you this week. I have to say the buzz this morning on our weekly Realtor’s Tour was pretty invigorating, realtors were saying they feel like the market is quite active again and our stats below show that. We had 2 mortgage brokers at our monthly office meeting today telling us how the banks are needing more time to qualify people for mortgages and how the rules are changing at individual banks. We would encourage you to work with local mortgage brokers who know the Whistler and Pemberton properties. There were 22 sales this past week, showing just how active our market is and with 19 price reductions, there is sure to be lots of sales in the coming week too. Our 2019 first quarter stats show we are up slightly in the number of sales in comparison to the last quarter of 2018! If you would like a more detailed report let us know.
