It was a memorable weekend for the local Graduates! We are proud to say, my son Tegan, (who was unable to attend the celebrations as he is away in Europe racing in the World Cup for Downhill Mountain Biking) and my niece Ruby who was the valedictorian, were both part of the Pemberton Secondary Schools class of 2023! The grads all parade thru town in their decorated vehicles before heading inside for the celebration. The weather held out and the event was spectacular. A huge Congratulations to all of the 2023 Graduates!

Real estate continues to be active despite the rate hike of .25% last week. The past 7 days in Whistler we had a total of 23 new listings, 13 sales and 13 price adjustments. Pemberton had 3 new listings, 4 sales and 4 price adjustments. On our ⁠realtors tour this am we saw 13 newly listed properties, up from our average tour of 6-8. This included properties ranging from $839,000 for a studio in Marketplace Lodge to $9,375,000 for a stunning home built in 2022 on Blueberry Hill!

Hike for Health

The Hike for Health event returns and will take place on Sunday, June 18, 2023 on the Ascent Trail on Blackcomb Mountain. Three different distances will be available (weather permitting), plus a fourth option to ride the gondola to the top. All proceeds from this year’s event will go to the Dr. Rob Burgess Primary Care Fund and support improvements to primary care access.  Full schedule and more details can be found here.
