Crankworx is here and things are hopping! The Village is alive with entertainment, vendors, athletes and fans. We are 1/2 way thru with the wrap up on Saturday with Slopestyle – and this year is the first year female athletes will be competing. This event is always a crowd favourite. If you are coming up be sure to make reservations for dinner. The temperatures are cooling off slightly which is nice for the athletes.

“Bank of Canada dropped rates by another 0.25% earlier this morning amid signs that inflation is moderating and the labour market slowing. Experts say this trend is expected to continue with another 0.50% in anticipated cuts by the end of this year and more into next year.” Colleen Thomas Mortgages. This is more directly beneficial for those with variable rates and HELOCS but in time we should see lenders lowering their fixed term rates.
