Whistler will be busy this long weekend with great weather expected for Sunday and Monday. Don’t forget to check out Pemberton, The Beer Farmers tulip garden with its incredible backdrop is a stop not to miss.
Real estate numbers are almost exactly the same as last week with 32 new listings and 11 sales for Whistler and 7 new listings and 3 sales for Pemberton. Notably, two of the new listings are in Bralorne, a historic silver mining community known for its backcountry adventures, located approximately a 2-hour drive via Hurley Road. The new capital gains tax structure is coming into play for some second home owners in Whistler. Despite this, there has been no significant impact on market dynamics thus far, with all segments continuing to perform robustly. Pemberton is following the predicted Spring market trends with consistent new listings and sales. We will continue to see more offers subject to the sale as buyers move up in the market.
