A week for the history books!
The WHOOP UCI Downhill World Cup was absolutely incredible! What an experience to host Whistler’s first-ever UCI Downhill World Cup and see our mountain and town come alive with the athletes, teams, support crews and approximately 30,000 fans who showed up to take it all in.
And on a personal note, I couldn’t have been prouder to have both of my boys, Lucas and Tegan, in the start gate for this historic one. ❤️ From everything we’ve heard, the athletes loved racing here and are already looking forward to coming back. There’s even talk of Whistler hosting the World Cup for the next three years — and after this weekend, I think there will be a lot of people hoping that’s true!
This week in Whistler, we saw 16 new listings and 8 recorded sales, while Pemberton had 5 new listings and 2 sales. There continues to be a steady flow of new inventory coming to market in both communities, giving buyers some fresh options as we move into fall. With buyers having more choice, pricing and presentation continue to be important, and well-positioned properties are still finding their buyers.
