Greetings from Whistler and Pemberton,
The kids are back in school and there’s definitely a little more breathing room around Whistler, but September still has plenty going on! After a busy RBC GranFondo weekend, attention now turns to the Whistler Village Beer Festival coming up this weekend, followed by the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, bringing some of the world’s best riders to Whistler.
I’m especially excited for the World Cup Downhill September 25-27th, as both of my older sons, Lucas and Tegan, will be competing. It will be pretty special to watch them race here at home as Whistler hosts its inaugural UCI Mountain Bike World Cup!
The golf courses and Bike Park are still going strong, and with cooler days, quieter trails and the first hints of fall colour, September is a pretty great time to be in the mountains.
On the real estate front, Whistler had another active week with 18 new listings and 15 sales, while Pemberton saw a nice bump in new inventory with 7 new listings coming to market and 1 sale.
