It is snowing!! The weather report says snow will intensify this evening, with the heaviest snowfall expected tonight through Wednesday morning. Snowfall accumulations of 15 to 30 cm is expected during this time and potential another 5-10 during the day tomorrow. We know the mountains are open and everyone is excited to have new snow. Whistler Blackcomb has been keeping everyone up to date with their progress on the Creekside Gondola cable and getting the Red chair up and running. Luge World Cup Whistler December 9 & 10
Cheer on the world’s fastest luge athletes on ice as they compete at the Whistler Sliding Centre for the World Cup titles in Men’s and Women’s Singles, Doubles and Team Relay races. The Whistler Sliding Centre is honoured to host the Eberspächer Luge World Cup with more than 100 athletes, representing more than 20 countries.
Luge competitions are always so fun to watch, especially because there are always a few local favourites racing! We hope to see you there, cheering from beside the track!
