As we approach Dec. 25th, the days are getting shorter, it starts getting dark outside just after 3:00 pm . Today was a bluebird day, gorgeous blue skies and beautiful sparkling snow dazzling on the trees. Whistler is filling up with holiday guests, friends and families, the word is that the hotels and condos are 100% booked, it is going to be busy. The report looks a little better this week with 29 new listings and 23 sales. The phones are quieter, people are busy with holiday plans and shopping so we are noticing a slowing in activity. We are looking for new listings , if you are thinking of selling in the near future, please call us . The prices are up so it is a good time to take advantage of the demand and the higher prices. Our US buyers should be jumping in with both feet now that the exchange rate is so enticing, it’s certainly a great deal for them right now. There is an increase to about 8% American buyers now, I expect more in the new year.
