Greetings from Val Di Sole, Italy!
We hope you enjoyed a great Canada Day long weekend. Tracey and I are lucky enough to be in Italy with her eldest son Lucas who is competing in the Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup! This is his 4th stop in the circuit and so far he is holding 4th overall in the Junior category which is 17-18-year-olds. It is amazing traveling to the other resorts and seeing another part of the world. Yesterday we rode the gondola and went for a hike then came down and biked for 18 km’s through 5 different Villages to a Castle all along paved trails, it was beautiful!
We are keeping in touch with the market at home and have fabulous associates at home managing our business so if you are wanting to see any properties just let us know, they are ready to help. The market is showing what it has historically at this time of year, an increase in new listings. Sales are a little slower but definitely still happening. The Village is full of tourists enjoying the resort, hotel bookings are up for the summer according to Tourism Whistler and there is lots of exciting new development on the mountains so, in turn, this will bring more buyers who want to own a piece of the magic!
