What a wild weather week! Big snow falls, to sunshine and now some freezing rain… Mother nature you are really giving us all aspects. There is still some great snow on the mountains and for your backcountry adventures however the avalanche rating for your area should always be checked in advance. Our office is just preparing a year-end recap for you which we will send out to you ASAP.  Here is a quick preview of our annual stats to see how 2021 was. Whistler: Over 1.5 billion in real estate sold, a 35% increase over 2020 (remember we lost 3-4 months in 2020). Pemberton: Over 190 million in sales, a 43% increase over 2020 (same as above, the market stopped for 3 months when covid hit).

Same as we have been saying, the market is moving and we are very low on inventory! Whistler is currently showing 114 listings and Pemberton is at just 12. A quick reminder to check on your BC assessments, if you need any more details we are here to help. As your assessment goes up, this does not necessarily mean that you will be paying more taxes. The BC assessment website has some great information on understanding your assessment in relation to your taxes. .

Community Update:

Amidst what seems to be cancellations all around us, we are happy to hear that the 29th annual Whistler Pride and Ski Festival is going ahead!
