Greetings from Whistler and Pemberton,

We hope you have all been able to enjoy some time with family and friends over the holiday period and have stayed healthy.

WOW, we have not seen this much consistent snow in a very long time! Growing up in the northern interior of BC we saw a lot of snow but this past week has been wild for the Sea to Sky and lower mainland. From the freezing cold temps to the 60+cm snowfalls and more on the way, everyone who has been able to enjoy the powder is very happy!

Whistler real estate sales are at 14 this past week with just 9 new listings and Pemberton had 2 sales and no new listings. In Whistler all aspects of the market from timeshares to the luxury market are still very strong. The BC assessment website now has your 2022 property values posted. Values across BC are up and Pemberton and Whistler are no exception. If you are wondering what your home might be worth in today’s market or if you would like to chat about your 2022 assessed value, please reach out at any time to connect.

Here are this past week’s numbers for you:

Trees of Hope Auction

Fairmont Chateau Whistler and Mountain Galleries proudly present ‘Trees of Hope’ – a silent art auction raising funds for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. Evoking the true spirit of the holiday season, fifteen amazing Canadian artists shared their time and talent to create beautiful ‘Trees of Hope’ paintings.

Paintings are donated by the artists for this annual silent auction with all proceeds going to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, which provides palliative and respite care services for sick children in BC Canada.

If you are in town, make sure you take a wander through the Fairmont to view all of the amazing works of art. Click Here for more info and a link to donate.
