The weather may have been a bit soggy over the weekend but from all reports, the skier and boarders were pretty happy. Super Bowl Sunday was a big attraction last Sunday, so the mountains were a little quiet. I don’t really watch football, but that game was very entertaining plus I enjoyed the commercials and Justin Timberlake at halftime. It was a great game to watch. The Village is busy, hotels are booked and revenues are high for those with rental properties you should be seeing some good returns.
There is plenty happening in the news these days with politics, the stock markets, the interest rising, the mortgage rules changing and the price of real estate in Whistler just keeps going up! If you are thinking of selling, now is a good time to sell before Spring. There may be an influx of new listings coming to the market in the Spring which will bring more competition for yours. Talk to us now and be on the leading edge of the spring listings and sales. It is the best seller’s market in all my 25 years of real estate. We look forward to helping you with your decisions, give us a call or email.
The Pemberton market has also been very busy this past week with 6 new listings and 2 recorded sales although we do know there are others soon to show up as sold. There are a couple of new larger townhomes if you are thinking of upsizing, or even downsizing, they are 3 bedrooms plus a den and double garages!
We look forward to hearing from you with any questions or comments. Don’t forget we also have tickets for you to The BC Home and Garden Show from Feb. 21-25th at BC Place Stadium.
Have a great week!
