Greetings from Whistler,
Summer has finally arrived! We are loving the sunshine and the big blue skies although it is definitely a little hotter than normal… I am sure the lakes will be enjoyed by many this weekend. Now that traveling has opened up within BC, we noticed many more people in the resort this past weekend. It felt like the flood gates had opened and we welcomed our guests with open arms. Most of the restaurants are open but be sure to make reservations for dinner if you are coming up. The Whistler Village Gondola and the Peak to Peak are now open plus Creekside and Garbo! The Whistler Bike Park has helped set the stage for many of our local riders. We would like to congratulate all our local riders who are in Europe racing their bikes representing their brands and Canada. We have a number of athletes from Whistler, Pemberton, and Squamish competing including Tracey’s 2 older boys, Lucas and Tegan along with Finn Illes, Jackson Goldstone, Coen Skrypnek, and others. The next stop is Les Gets France for more Downhill action on July 3rd. Follow along with their races on Pinkbike or Redbull TV.

Sunday Concert Series at the Point
July 4 – August 25, 2021 3-6pm
This summer they’ve put a new spin on Sundays at The Point, featuring live outdoor concerts under the Flag Stop tent. Enjoy top musical acts from Whistler, the Sea-to-Sky and Vancouver while enjoying a drink from the bar and taking in the beautiful lakeside scenery.
Tickets will be sold in advance to ensure safe attendance numbers. $15 show only, or $30 including a late lunch/early dinner compliments of Aphrodite’s Organic Café & Pie Shop.
