Greetings from Whistler and Pemberton,
Hard to believe September is already here. With the final long weekend of summer right in front of us, we’re heading into one of my favourite times of year in Whistler and Pemberton. The days are still warm, the mornings and evenings are getting a little cooler, and before long we’ll start to see the first hints of fall colour across the valley. It’s a wonderful little window to enjoy the last of summer before the seasons begin to shift and the excitement of another ski season starts to build.
On the real estate front, new listings were a little quieter this past week. Whistler recorded 16 new listings and 12 sales, while Pemberton saw 3 new listings and 1 sale. With September now underway, we’ll be watching to see whether the fall market brings a fresh wave of inventory and buyer activity as summer winds down and thoughts gradually begin turning toward winter.
For now, I hope everyone had a fantastic long weekend and has a chance to enjoy these beautiful late-summer days — there’s still plenty of biking, hiking, golfing and time on the lakes ahead!
