It is officially Fall and that means The Legendary Turkey Sale is just around the corner Oct. 5-8th held at the base of Blackcomb. Whistler celebrates Thanksgiving by throwing a big Turkey Sale for new and used ski and snowboard equipment and clothing. Mark your calendars, there will be plenty of sales throughout the village as well to check out.
The real estate market stats year to date show us that the number of sales for Chalets has dropped to 79 from 115 last year at this time with the average Chalet price this year at $2,996,990.28 up from $2,743,064.34 for 2017 an increase of 9.26%. Condo sales are at 191 compared with 245 for 2017 and the average price is up at $640,482.87 compared with $598,302.30 a 7.05% increase. Townhouse sales were 157 verses 202 for 2017 and the average price went up to $1,465,564.96 from $1,113,231.08 in 2017, a 31.65% increase. To sum it up the number of sales in Whistler went down and the prices went up 2017 versus 2018. Whistler Market
Pemberton has been very active in the past 2 weeks with 8 sales, three new listings and 10 price reductions. We are seeing a noticeable increase in viewing activity on our listing this week. Year to date recorded sales for Pemberton are at 100 and last year at this time we were at 127 and inventory wise we are at 83 active listings compared to 54 at this time last year. The average prices overall are up from last year at this time. If you are interested in building lots Sunstone is doing their sales launch this Saturday for 1B. If you are considering a lot let us know ASAP so we can get you an Expression of Interest form completed and submitted today.
