The weather has been a little unsettled this past week from icy cold temperatures to beautiful snowfall and now warmer temperatures. Whistler has many options for those not wanting to venture up the hills from The Core – climbing gym, snowshoeing or cross country skiing to indoor or outdoor skating and of course plenty of restaurants and shopping.

The real estate market is still showing some activity. We are showing property and getting enquiries on our listings so there are people looking for the perfect home. On January 1, 2023, the Government of Canada will be instituting a two-year ban preventing non-Canadians and corporations controlled by non-Canadians from purchasing residential property in Canada, with some noted exceptions. Based on the regulation, the good news is all properties in Whistler and Pemberton will be excluded from the ban and non-Canadians can continue to purchase. We are happy to share our markets will still be open to investment despite the ban. ⁠
