Whistler, The In Place to Be! It has been an incredible winter and moving straight into Spring comes the Ski and Snowboard Festival April 10th – 15th. This year’s five-day World Ski and Snowboard Festival (April 10 – 15) is jam-packed full of events ranging from music, art, photography, filmmaking, ski and snowboard competitions and non-stop nightlife, plus some of the best skiing and après sessions of the season. Now to the Whistler and Pemberton Markets. We have to say that the last week of our Spring Break and Easter Long weekend was pretty quiet. Calls were not pouring in on listings. But, we thought it would be quiet so it was not a surprise. After 25 years of selling real estate in Whistler, we know it pretty well. It is nice to see there are 20 new listings in Whistler and 11 sales, so it was fairly lively considering the timing, people are out and about doing holiday activities, skiing, boarding, Easter egg hunts and dinners. Just to let you know, I had a huge yellow tagged bear on my deck twice this weekend, looking for his Easter dinner! Beware, the bears are awake and hungry.

The Pemberton market has been a little quieter for the townhomes and duplexes this past week however the single-family homes are getting all the attention! There were many families away for the holidays so we will see what the next week brings us.
