Its almost time! Whistler Bike Park opens this weekend and it is the final days on Blackcomb for the winter season. It is going to be an action packed long weekend with The Whistler Children’s Festival at the Maury Young Arts Centre. Opening this weekend at the base of Blackcomb on the Upper Village Stroll, is our Whistler Farmer’s Market which will be full of vendors from from 11-4 on Sunday. Something for everyone!
This week’s numbers show a balanced market in Whistler, while Pemberton is seeing an expected uptick in new listings with the arrival of spring.
Our April 2025 Whistler Real Estate Market Report is in: Whistler recorded 29 sales, marking a 57% decrease compared to April 2024. While activity slowed, condo prices have remained stable. April brought some uncertainty, but so far in May, we’re seeing an encouraging increase in sales.
In Pemberton, there were 4 sales in April, and the median sale price hit $975,000 — the highest so far this year. This could point to growing buyer confidence as expectations of stability in lending rates build. Overall, the Pemberton market is balanced: single-family homes currently favour buyers, while townhomes are leaning in favour of sellers.
