Greetings from Whistler and Pemberton,
Winter isn’t quite finished with Whistler just yet. With 31 cm of fresh snow over the past week, conditions are feeling far more mid-season as we head into Easter weekends, bringing back powder days, refreshed alpine terrain, and a noticeable boost in energy across the resort.
That renewed energy is beginning to carry into the real estate market as well. Both Whistler and Pemberton are showing early signs of a seasonal shift, with increased activity with fresh inventory coming online, and buyers starting to re-engage after a quieter stretch.
For sellers, strategy matters. Pricing, presentation, and timing all need to align with today’s buyer expectations. For buyers, the uptick in inventory offers more choice, but the most desirable opportunities, particularly those with a great view, prime location, or flexible rental options, are still moving quickly.
With fresh snow on the ground and momentum beginning to build, this is a dynamic window in the market, where preparation and a clear understanding of value can make all the difference on both sides of the transaction.
If you’re curious about what this means for your property, considering a move, or simply want to stay informed, I’m always happy to share insight and help you navigate your next step.
