A fresh new week is here in the Sea to Sky, and with ski season starting on Friday, winter energy is officially in the air.

One event to look forward to this month is Whistler Winterlights, a magical, family-friendly celebration happening at Whistler Olympic Plaza from November 27–29, 2025 with evening activations on Nov 27–28 from 4:00–8:00 PM and the Ferris wheel running Nov 27–29 from 12:00–8:00 PM. The festival is free to attend (some activities like Ferris wheel rides have small fees), and features glowing light installations, live DJ sets, a pop-up market with local food and treats, hands-on activities (lantern making and LED robot performers on Friday), and outdoor skating under the lights..
