You have all heard the news about the 15% non-resident vacancy tax in Vancouver, the intention is to slow down the market and let more local buyers into the market. This tax does not apply in Whistler. Non-resident buyers represent about 15 % – 20% of our buyers. Most of these buyers are buying lifestyle and they come here to experience the wonderful Whistler and Pemberton area. Our market remains the same in Whistler and Pemberton, very busy!
