Well it has been an exciting week watching all the Olympic events and remembering the exciting times of Whistler 2010! My eldest son’s girlfriend is Trinity Ellis (19) who just competed in the women’s Luge and finished as the top Canadian in 14th spot! Soo exciting to watch and what a wild sport. Congratulations to all of the athletes who have qualified for Beijing 2022, we are cheering for you.

Valentine’s Day is Coming Up!
With Valentine’s Day just a week away, we thought we would share the Instagrams of some of our favourite shops and restaurants in Whistler and Pemberton in case you need ideas to treat your sweetie!
In Whistler Village, Senka Florist and The Great Glass Elevator Candy Shop are always reliable for flowers and gifts. You would be amazed at all the cool non-candy gifts you can find at the candy shop! Over in Creekside, Get The Goods has tons of fun and totally original gifts for all ages. As for restaurants in Whistler, well we think it’s hard to go wrong anywhere, but we always recommend the Rim Rock Cafe for the most delicious dinner for a special occasion!
In Pemberton there is a really cool artisan shop in town called The Pemberton Collective. They have the most adorable hand made cards, really pretty jewelry and all sorts of other locally made gifts. We would even say it’s worth the drive from Whistler to check out this shop. For restaurants, we love a hearty meal at The Pony for any occasion! Of course there is also Town Square, which is having a Valentine’s dinner special!
