We’re in the first week of February and already there have been a couple of bears that have risen from their dens, wandering around in neighbourhoods looking for food. There is bare ground in my backyard in Nordic and the snow in the Villages is currently disappearing. The good news is, it is snowing in the mountains!
I’m happy to say goodbye to January and hello to February, the market is starting to open up! There are 21 new listings, 9 price adjustments and just 4 sales in the past week in Whistler, however, we know there are a number of offers in play. We have multiple viewing appointments booked and email enquiries are coming in. The days are a little longer and people are looking at real estate more than we have seen in the last couple of months, this is typical for February.
