I was a tourist in our resort last night. A group of friends invited us to join them for the Fondue at Crystal Hut. We did it about 8 years ago and had a lot of fun so we decided to go take them up on their offer. We rode up in the Snow Cat but several of them took snowmobiles up. It was almost a full moon, the groomers were out in full force and it was like a magical little world of its own up there. The fondue was great fun and good food. We were delivered back to the base of Blackcomb in front of the Carleton Lodge at 7:45 and home before midnight. I would highly recommend this if you are looking something different to do. The market is starting to pick up more listings in the last week and 2 sales a day approximately. Because the occupancy is remaining pretty high here, it has been quite difficult to show listings to potential buyers. February is one of the highest occupancy months every year. We do have many people looking for the ideal property to buy , it takes time to find the right fit and it takes time to schedule the visits to Whistler.
