Whistler & Pemberton Market Update – July 18.23

Here we are in the middle of July and the weather is still beautiful, just a little rainstorm yesterday but back to sunshine and heat today.  This week you will see the Joyride jumps at the bike park being finished in preparation for Crankworx Whistler, starting this Friday July 21^st – 30th.  Check out the schedule and get ready for some local athletes to put on a show for you!  Tracey’s boy’s, Lucas Cruz and Tegan Cruz should be at the top of your list to watch.  Lucas Cruz just earned the Canadian DH National Champion in Fernie this past weekend! These boys work hard for their amazing achievements.  If you are looking for something other than the high adrenalin bike racing, here are some other outdoor activities for you and your family in Whistler and Pemberton.

Let’s look at the real estate market.  We are seeing a slight slowing of the market, another hike in the % rates hasn’t helped but generally we are in the middle of summer and families are busy with the holiday season.  But, notice there is 8 price adjustments in Whistler and 3 in Pemberton, an indication of a slower market.  We have 17 new listings in Whistler and 4 in Pemberton, with 9 sales in Whistler and 2 in Pemberton, bringing the total to 200 listings in Whistler (without shared ownership) and 71 in Pemberton.  Let us know if you would like a market evaluation on your property or if you are looking at buying, give us a call or send an email, we are here to help you.
