Greetings from Whistler,
We are quickly approaching the opening day, November 22nd! There is precipitation in the forecast and with the lower temperatures, I am sure this will bring us some much-welcomed snow. This week Whistler is celebrating Cornucopia with nightly events all over town to enjoy some amazing food and wine. Here is the schedule if you have time to enjoy any of the events, I am sure you won’t be disappointed.
Whistler market continues to have more new listings than sales and we are feeling the market is stabilizing, yet those in high demand remain in demand with our limited inventory. Interesting to note the home that sold this week on Balsam Way for $6,300,000 has been on the market for 348 days and three of the other sales are in the new Promontory townhomes on Blueberry Hill, they are going to be spectacular. As of today, we have 243 active listings in Whistler, 32 of those are shared ownership. The rental bookings/numbers look strong going into the winter season which is excellent for those in phase 1 and 2 properties. Let us know if you want to know what your property is worth in today’s market.
Here is what happened in Whistler this week.
