Welcome to paradise! Whistler and Pemberton have been basking in beautiful sunshine and we had a beautiful Strawberry Full Moon on Saturday night. The weather could not have been better for the Grade 12 Grad Ceremonies in Whistler and Pemberton last weekend. Tracey hosted the Pemberton Grad Class dinner and party at her farm, where kids and parents dined and danced until the wee hours of the morning with our famous DJ, Julian Hine. Congratulations to all of the Grads of 2019!
On June 23rd, Whistler hosts the first stop of the BC Cup Downhill races, check out the schedule and come to watch some fantastic bike racing this weekend. Be sure to watch for two of Tracey’s sons, Lucas and Tegan Cruz!
In the real estate world, another week of several competing offers took place. It is amazing to see what happens when a really great property comes on the market at a competitive price. The offers that are successful are usually subject free or close to it. Our inventory is climbing, we are now at 325 listings in Whistler and 77 in Pemberton. The increase in inventory is giving us a more balanced market compared to what we were facing last year at this time, which was more of a seller’s market.
