Wasn’t that the best Winter Olympics we have watched since 2010! There were so many local athletes that we know personally and have watched them train for the last 4 years to qualify for the Olympics in Beijing. We are so proud of our Canadian Athletes and there is more to come with the Paralympics starting on March 4th. We are always so impressed with the commitment and dedication of the athletes. The real estate market is really opening up as we see 17 new listings in Whistler this week and a whopping 26 sales, not bad for a Magical Ski Resort with a total of only 122 listings. Pemberton is sitting at 17 listings. It is nice for the buyers to have a few new listings to choose from over last month. Did you know that the Whistler Sliding Centre is open to the public for Bobsleigh and Skeleton!? Public visitors can try Whistler’s most unique activities, passenger bobsleigh (winter and summer) and public skeleton (winter). Aspiring athletes can join “Learn to Slide” programming for all skill levels in bobsleigh, skeleton and luge within the BC Sliding Development Centre. We think this is really cool!
